Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you're all well.
We've had a great week on the whole, pupils' attitude to learning has remained positive and there's a calmness around school.
It was lovely to welcome more prospective pupils and their parents and carers to our Open Morning on Wednesday and at other points in the week. We really value the feedback they have given us, so many positives. On the note of feedback, please could I trouble you to complete our Parent and Carers survey Link we value your opinions and will act on feedback provided.
Today we held our first fire evacuation practice of the year, I was incredibly proud of the whole school, we beat last years evacuation time by 10 seconds. I could've heard a pin drop as the pupils came out onto the field and lined up. This is a true reflection of how far we've come and the culture we've established here at Danebury School.
Attendance has increased this week, we are inline with National averages and uniform is looking fabulous, many thanks for your support with this.
Clubs will commence next week on Tuesday and Thursday. There is a wide range of clubs to get involved with, please do encourage your child to attend (see timetable below).
It's our annual Year 7 Camp this weekend, we have been lucky with the weather today, thankfully the sun has come out and we have lots of very excited Year 7s learning how to put their tents up as I write. I'm sure they'll have a blast!
Have a lovely weekend.
