At Danebury School, the Local Academy Committee (LAC) provides support and challenge to the Head Teacher of the school. A key aim of the Academy Committee at Danebury is to create robust accountability, oversight and assurance of our pupil’s educational performance.

The Local Academy Committee at Danebury School has two core strategic functions:

1. Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction.
2. Holding leaders to account for the educational performance of Danebury School and its pupils, and the performance management of staff.
