  • Welcome to Danebury School!

We are so excited to have you join us as you begin your secondary school journey. At Danebury, we are dedicated to making sure every student, including those with special educational needs, feels welcomed, supported, and empowered to succeed. Our inclusive environment is designed to celebrate every individual's unique strengths, and we’re here to help you every step of the way.

To ensure that your learning experience is as positive as possible, we will create a Student Passport for you. This passport will provide your teachers with important information about your needs so they know how to effectively support you in the classroom. Our staff, including teachers and Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), are committed to adapting lessons to suit your learning style and help you thrive. You’ll find that our supportive team is always ready to provide the assistance you need, whether it's in class or in other areas of school life.

To help ease your transition into secondary school, we’re offering some students an enhanced Transition Day on 19th June. This day will allow you to get familiar with your new school environment and connect with some new classmates. Additionally, we’ll have a main  Transition Day on 30th June for all of our new year 7, where you’ll meet your tutor and new tutees. This is a great chance to make new friends, ask any questions, and get to know your school better.

We also have a proactive and supportive pastoral team in place to guide you through your time at Danebury. They are here to help with any concerns you might have and will be there to support you as you adjust to this exciting new chapter in your life.

We’re so proud to have you as part of our school community, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll achieve.
