  • Modern Foreign Languages

Our Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) curriculum is designed to nurture a lifelong love of languages, an understanding and tolerance of different cultures and the ability to discover and appreciate the world. We want pupils in MFL to build knowledge of key vocabulary and grammar which can be manipulated and applied across a variety of contexts, enabling pupils to communicate in a foreign language. We also want pupils studying MFL to deepen their knowledge of how language works and enrich vocabulary to increase independent use and understanding of language in a wide range of contexts.
