Hampshire County Council Education Catering
(formerly known as HC3S)

Comforting classics, lighter choices and grab and go items are interspersed with popular dishes from around the world to encourage students to find something to suit their TASTE!

It’s all freshly prepared with plenty of choice including the popular streets options, especially in secondary schools as it’s easy to hold and perfect for socialising while eating. Of course, they also produce main classic dishes that you can eat with a knife and fork that students recognise and enjoy.

All our non-meat options are listed first on our menus as we support and encourage our students and school communities to reduce their meat and fish intake, and make healthier food choices, whilst thinking sustainably for the future of the planet. From a new recipe roasted vegetable lasagne to a selection of world foods including Quorn Chow Mein, we haven’t compromised on the authentic flavours and taste. Mindful that not everyone wants to participate, we cater for students that still prefer meat or fish, for those not fully committed to a meat free alternative.

Our teams only serve in compostable Vegware containers and trays that uses plant based renewable, lower carbon or recycled materials.

For our hot and cold deli range, we are committed to minimising our impact on the environment. All Real Wrap Co. cardboard packaging is FSC certified, and all plastics are made with 95% recycled clear plastics. The sandwich packaging lining is sourced completely from trees.

From morning break’s queue busting, hunger satisfying grab and go daily options, hot and cold deli range rolls, panini, toasties, hummus pots and salads; to nutritious hot and healthy meals. There’s something to suit everyone’s taste, and that’s without the extra daily specials and future concept days.

The biometric system means service is fast and efficient, so students don’t need to worry about carrying loose change.

For allergen information, please inform a member of the catering team before you order. They will be more than happy to provide you with a full list of the ingredients used in all our dishes allowing you to make an informed decision on what to eat. The team will be prepared for Natasha’s Law which comes into effect on 1 October 2021.
